Luis Medina, 26, was arrested in January by Darien police in connection with the theft of high-end shampoo from a CVS store on Post Road.
Medina has since been connected to similar thefts in Stamford, Westport and New York City, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Medina confessed to the crimes in a written statement to police, according to the Stamford Advocate, which said 26-year-old's statement includes the line, "I am the CVS Bandit."
Medina has been charged with three counts of fourth-degree larceny and two counts of sixth-degree larceny in Stamford, according to the Advocate.
